TGI Fridays Launches New Jack Daniel's Triple Barrel Combos

TGIFridays stands for great times and good food in a casual and fun dining ambience. From appetizers and entrees, to desserts and beverages, they definitely put a premium on the dishes they serve. And as if their extensive menu were not enough, Fridays recently launched their new Jack Daniel's  Triple Barrel Combos.

"The Jack Daniel's sauce has always been a Fridays signature, we want our Jack Daniel's favorites in one platter for everyone to share and enjoy," said Guia Abuel VP Operations. "The recent additions still come in huge portions and are meant for sharing . Aside from this, all Triple Barrel Combos also come with refillable rice. This means groups can enjoy an order that give more value for money -- a characteristic that has made TGIFridays one of the most popular restaurants in the country."

Patrons and new customers can dig into the following Jack Daniel's Triple Barrel Combos, Salmon, Chicken and Chop - chargrilled Norwegian salmon fillet, roasted chicken and grilled tender pork glazed with Jack Daniel's sauce; Chicken, Chop and Shrimp - Roasted chicken, grilled tender pork chop and deep fried battered shrimps; Ribs, Chop and Shrimp includes half rack of Cajun - spiced pork ribs, grilled tender pork chop and deep-fried battered shrimps.

All combos are served with corn on the cob, seasonal vegetable, refillable rice and TGIFridays signature Jack Daniel's sauce.

Foodie Adventure at TGIFridays with the New Jack Daniel's Triple Barrel Combos

Together with my colleagues,  we were invited to try the new additionals of the TGIFridays mouth-watering dishes - the New Jack Daniel's Triple Barrel Combos. First, I thought we are going to be drinking whiskey when I first heard the new menus name. But it sounds something new so I thought this is gonna be exciting.



We started our food adventure at TGIFridays Centrio with Chipotle Yucatan Chicken Salad - Grilled chicken breast seasoned with garlic, oregano & blackening spices. Served over romaine tossed with mixed cheese, tomato, red onion, cilantro and tostadas in lime cilantro dressing. Drizzled with aioli sriracha. It seems complicated but when you tasted it, HEAVEN is the taste you can experience! I can eat the whole servings for myself because I am more into salads.  Calypso Calamari Salad was also served as our starter - Crisp, golden fried calamari served over mixed fresh greens and tossed with cilantro-lime dressing and topped with tomato, pineapple and toasted nuts. There's nothing more heaven than having a good starters such as the TGIFridays Salads.




Next, we were served with appetizer platters. Fridays Three for All - a trio of their most famous appetizers: Loaded Potato Skins, Fried Mozzarella and our spicy Buffalo Wings, complete with sour cream and green onions, marinara sauce and celery sticks with Bleu cheese dressing. We're still with the appetizers meal but I am already full with the servings.


After the starter and appetizers food exploration adventure, here comes the main course of our foodie exciting activity.

Let the stars parade to our table, first was the Ribs, Chop & Shrimp - includes half rack of Cajun - spiced pork ribs, grilled tender pork chop and deep-fried battered shrimps. The pork ribs is so tender, you will always take a bite again and again dip it into the Jack Daniel's sauce and it's a perfection!  The grilled tender pork chop is so flavorful that you don't even have to dip it into the sauce but you can't resist the Jack Daniel's sauce. As what they've said, "Sauce pa lang, ULAM na!" Refill please!

Next was the Chicken, Chop and Shrimp - Roasted chicken, grilled tender pork chop and deep fried battered shrimps. I am not really into chicken but this one made me took a bite over and over, maybe it is because of the Jack Daniel's sauce. Oh, I love the deep fried battered shrimp too, just dunk it to the JD's sauce and its complete.

And the last but not the least, my favorite of the triple barrel combos was the Salmon, Chicken & Chop - Chargrilled Norwegian pink salmon fillet, roasted chicken and grilled tender pork chop glazed with Jack Daniel's sauce. Served with corn on the cob and seasonal vegetables. I can never say NO! to Pink Salmon so my fork couldn't rest because I always take a mouthful with the pink salmon's savory tang. Dunk it at the Jack Daniel's sauce and walla! it's magic right in front of your table! The roasted chicken is tasteful, pair it with tender pork chop and spread some Jack Daniel's sauce and you are good!


We ended our Food adventure with delectable-lusciously- mouth-watering desserts! I am so obsessed with Brownie Obsession. it is a warm brownie covered in dark and rich chocolate-fudge, vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and pecans. It is indeed a brownie fascination kind of dessert. It is indeed a dessert mania when they add to our table the Mocha Mud Pie - Rich chocolate-almond and coffee ice cream frozen in a chocolate crumb crust. Topped with hot fudge and toasted almond slices.
