Pepper Lunch in CDO

OK, I consider myself not a foodie since I wasn't familiar about Pepper Lunch the first time I heard it opened in Cagayan de Oro City in December 2013. It was Mindanaoan Irene who brought us at the Japanese Steakhouse Pepper Lunch, we were deciding where to eat our dinner and Irene pop the word "Pepper Lunch" and I was like... Hmmm... we will eat our 'DINNER' at Pepper LUNCH? I was kinda puzzled because it sounds kinda awkward. Since I also want to try Pepper Lunch out of curiosity and also because of people in CDO are talking about its opening, I said let's go!

We headed to the Location, Pepper Lunch is located at the Capt. V. Roa Street Entrance of Centrio Ayala Mall. When we arrived, we learned that they are still in soft opening. Few interiors of the store wasn't finished yet, but we were comfortable when we got there because of the warm welcome of the store crew and the Manager. Because I wasn't familiar about Pepper Lunch, I just asked them about their best seller and they said it's the Beef Pepper Rice, so I ordered it.

When our order arrived at the table, I was surprised because it was sizzling and it comes in electric hot plate and I was like "What the hell is this? I am going to eat in a hot plate?" (Sorry for being so ignorant about Pepper Lunch) So the crew instructed me to just mix it right away to cook the meat and add some flavors available at the table. In my mind, I said "Okay, I'm going to cook here!" but I was excited at the same time because I am having a part in cooking what I am going to eat. In just about a minute, I was finished mixing and cooking my ordered food and ready to savor for the FIRST TIME a best seller Beef Pepper Rice at Pepper Lunch and it was good! I can say I am going back again to eat at Pepper Lunch and try the other items in the menu. Not just about the menu, I also wanted to eat again at Pepper Lunch because they have a friendly and well-trained staff.

Did I mentioned that they also have the best dessert? I feel heavenly with their Molten Chocolate Cake and Crepe A La Mode. I also like their "GOMA" Black Sesame and Kuromitsu Caramel Ice cream.
